Studying again!

Hi Everybody!

I would like to share with you my experience at the Norwegian university Oslo Met (Oslo Metropolitan University):

This year I started one year career in Interpretation from Norwegian to Italian and from Italian to Norwegian. Since I wanted to increase and improve my Norwegian level I thought that the only way was to study it through a career, because first of all the level is higher and also because I knew I had to take a step further in my everday Norwegian which is intermediate.

They came back home!

Words travel all around the world and after so many decades they come back home. I am still reading the book “L’Italiano e’ bello” by Mariangela Galatea Vaglio and I would like to share this article with you because it got my attention. There are many words that we use and that we think have Anglo-Saxon origin, but instead are latin. So despite we think that we loan these said words from another language, we are actually using them  properly because they are from latin, our mother language!
